New users must be created using the Covata Safe Share Browser Application.
To add a new user:
- Access the Covata Administration interface from the top-right menu.
- Click the Users option.
- Click the Add New button.
- Complete the user's fields and select a user role.
- Click Save to complete user creation. The user will now appear in the Users list.
Following successful user creation, the user will be sent an email notification with instructions on how to sign in to the Safe Share web application.
The following fields can be defined on a user's account:
- Email: Must be unique within your Covata Platform.
- First Name: User first name.
- Last Name: User last name.
- Mobile Number: User mobile number.
- Role: See User roles description.
- System Admin?: Grants a user the System administrator role.
- User Admin?: Grants a user the User administrator role.
- Reset Sign-in Attempts?: Manually reset the user's failed sign-in attempt counter.
- Account Type: Select local, external or LDAP.
- Plan: Defines the storage quota assigned to the user.
- Quota Used: Details the amount of bytes of storage space currently in use by this user.
